Flower Edging [offsite link] Here is a very pretty flower edging made from numerous small motifs joined together. Not for those who hate finishing ends though! Onion Ring Edging and Snowflake [offsite link] Plain & Fancy Needlework March 1917. Original Pattern by Mrs. R. R. Richardson; modernized pattern by Wally Sosa. Scallop Edging [offsite link] Here is a lovely scalloped edging by Iris Neibach. Scallop Edging [offsite link] Workbasket October 1956 issue had a tatting pattern, "Scallop Lace in Tatting." Revised with modern notation and decorative alternatives. Tatted Edging [offsite link] This one is a reproduction of another early pattern and therefore the tatting is very simple to do. Itīs just the traditional ring and chain but with lots of picots on the chains - very pretty. Tatting & Rick Rack Edgings & more [offsite link] In the early part of the 20th century a lot of patterns were written using various kinds of braid. Sadly most are unavailable now, but it is still possible to obtain rick rack braid and these patterns make very good use of it. Three Leaf Clover [offsite link] Here is another variation of the three leaf clover edging, using a very pretty variegated thread. It is from the Corticelli Lessons in Tatting. Vintage Wide Edge [offsite link] This is an edging for a large circular mat which would look lovely on a dark wood surface. Itīs in three rows so would take some time to make.
