This one is a reproduction of another early pattern and therefore the tatting is very simple to do. It´s just the traditional ring and chain but with lots of picots on the chains - very pretty.

In the early part of the 20th century a lot of patterns were written using various kinds of braid. Sadly most are unavailable now, but it is still possible to obtain rick rack braid and these patterns make very good use of it.
