Breast Update - Beautiful Women Project  Today I went to a gallery exhibit featuring breasts. Large ones, small ones. Full ones, saggy ones. Young ones, old ones. Plump ones, missing ones. In the world of breasts it´s hard to find two alike Erika Oller [offsite link] Features the Real People Collection, adorable plus size figurines designed by Erika Oller. Goddess Cards  These beautiful cards were created by artist Anne Baird, former teacher, school administrator, author, freelance artist and journalist. Her line of Goddess Cards was born from a card she created for her curvy daughter, "You´re a Goddess, not a nymph!" Goddess Cards is based in West Vancouver, BC. Goddess Cards: Because Every Woman is a Goddess [offsite link] "Lush in color, curves, and diversity, the cards celebrate the goddess´s loving spirit, extravagent femininity, and zest for life. Inspirational, whimsical, or just plain fun, the message is always clear. Every card tells a woman "You´re GORGEOUS! Just as you are."" In Love With Russian Art  This week I learned, first time ever, an exhibit displaying Russian art is making the rounds; it’s currently at the Guggenheim Museum in New York. The collection spans 800 years of religion, politics and growth. Koh Jeong-soo [offsite link] Beautiful, tasteful nude sculptures of curvy women. Kristine Paton of Big Beautifuls [offsite link] Paintings and quotations "to encourage and inspire women of all ages to become more self-aware and self-accepting thereby increasing their self-esteem and self-confidence." Colourful depictions of large and lovely women.
Les Toil and His Toil Girls  Here is a collection of interviews with a few Les Toil Girls. Linda Williams - Artist  I first fell in love with Linda William�s female forms during at an outdoor art show in Newburg (Art Among the Ruins), Ontario last summer in which she had six unique and beautiful figures on display including the five you see pictured here. It was Nigel Morgan [offsite link] Born in Trinidad and educated at the Pratt Institute in New York. This artists´eye captures the beauty of the female form in illustrations, photos, fine art and graphics. Noon in Italy with Karl Briullov  Noon in Italy depicts a young woman on a ladder picking a bundle of grapes. Her lush form balances the lushness of the fruit. What I particularly like is how Karl captures the shadow of the grapes Paul Delacroix [offsite link] Beautiful romantic drawings of plus size women. Warning: tasteful nudity.
