Artisan Bread with Steve Review
A couple of years ago, I saw a youtube video made by a man named Steve Gamelin. His Artisan Bread with Steve (artisanbreadwithstev) youtube channel has wonderful videos to demonstrate just how easy his no-knead method is to make. With Steve's method, you just need four simple ingredients and a few easy to find kitchen tools. You don't need a mixer or a bread maker. You can make the dough in just a few minutes, and there is no kneading involved!
After watching and using the youtube videos, I bought a Kindle version of his No Knead Turbo Rolls. Turbo is the quicker version of his popular no-knead bread. The no-knead bread takes 8-24 hours to fully rise. The turbo version is ready in less than 2 1/2 hours. Filled with facts about bread making, this book has the complete directions for making a variety of rolls. There are 14 recipes for different rolls, including 5 different rolls that are designed for sandwich use. I love the Kindle version, because Steve has hyper-linked his instructional videos. Using my Kindle Fire, I can just click on the link and the video starts playing. This is a great feature! Then, you can go right back to the cookbook.
If you are tired of spending a lot of money to get tasty sandwich rolls, this book shows you how to have delightful rolls at a fraction of the cost. Even using part semolina flour, which is more expensive, I made 12 delicious sandwich rolls for under $2! The Kindle book, priced at $3.99 paid for itself with just a couple of sessions of making rolls. No Knead Turbo Rolls by Steve Gamelin earns my highest recommendation for ease of use, great explanations, and delightful recipes. Check out his youtube channel, too! Simple, easy to make, that's the Artisan Bread with Steve way of making tasty bread.
