Review - Purse Collection
I am a cross stitcher from way back, in fact I think it was the first real “handcraft” that I taught myself straight after my marriage in 1976. I have moved on to other needlework genres, but still return to cross stitch, particularly to stitch up a label for a quilt I have made.
I recently received a complimentary copy of a gorgeous cross stitch pattern called “Purse Collection”. It is a terrific pattern of various purses, and if you are like me and have a number of friends who are classic bag ladies, then this pattern is for you. The pattern is published by KOOLER CLASSIC CHARTS and is expertly designed by Barbara Baatz Hillman. Here’s a link to a picture of this particular pattern:

You will notice that there is a companion pattern consisting of shoes of all varieties. Isn’t it gorgeous too?
I put the chart to the test and found it very easy to read and follow, even without highlighting as I tend to do. These instructions are very user friendly charts, with clear and easy to understand chart keys. Much effort has been taken in providing the customer with well written and fully proof read instructions. One thing I particularly like is that the fonts used in these instructions are a little bigger than usual – great for these tired older peepers!!
