Rumbleroller Deep-Tissue Massage Roller

Rumbleroller Deep-Tissue Massage Roller
If you're looking for a way to do a serious massage to your muscles, I definitely recommend the Rumbleroller Deep-Tissue Massage Roller. This roller is great at digging into tight muscles.

Rumbleroller Deep-Tissue Massage Roller Rollers are generally used to help you dig out knots in muscles, and to work out toxins. In essence you use a roller for the same reason you'd go to a human masseuse. You want your muscles to be healthy and pain-free.

Many rollers are just flat. They don't provide much deep-muscle results. It would be like a masseuse sliding her hand over your leg, rather than digging in with her fingers.

We have three rollers here that we compare against each other:

* The Pro-Tec Y-roller, 15.5"
* The Gold's Gym flat roller, 24"
* The Rumble Roller, 31"

So of these, the RumbleRoller is the longest and most aggressive.

Pro-Tec Athletics The Y Roller Contoured Foam RollerI *love* the RumbleRoller on my legs. It's far better than the other two rollers. I love how it digs into my muscles. Note that I have the "medium stiffness" RumbleRoller. I did try the super-stiff one and that was painful on my legs. So for me, this one here is the right level of stiffness. I'm sure we all vary as to our muscle shape and size, so it might be worth testing out both to see which works best for you. But I do definitely recommend either of the RumbleRollers for leg muscles. The little knobs are awesome at digging into and releasing the muscle tension there.

However, I have to say that I'm not fond of the RumbleRoller on my back. I don't like things pressing into my spine. With my Y roller, there's a gap in the middle so nothing presses on my spine. I appreciate that greatly. So I don't use the RumbleRoller on my back. On the other hand, my boyfriend is thicker than I am and he loves the RumbleRoller on his back. So again, it depends on your body shape. I'm 5'7" and 128lb and my ribs and bones are at "skin level" pretty much on my back. So I don't like the knobby parts of the roller pushing against my ribs and spine.

So, overall, I love the roller. It is perfect for my legs. I don't use it on my back, and that's OK. I don't mind having two rollers, each which is great for what it does.

I purchased this roller with my own funds in order to use it and for this review.
