News of the death of a favorite public figure touches each of us in different ways. Some of those we lost in 2004 are listed below. I am sure there are more but these are the people who touched my heart--sometimes with love and sometimes with wonder.



I felt profound sadness when I learned recently that actress Fay Wray had died earlier in August of 2004. She will be forever remembered as the lovely girl in King Kong's* huge hands.
