Carrie (2013)

Carrie (2013)
The classic horror story by Stephen King that tells of the young teenager, Carrie White, who must bear the brunt of her mother’s overzealous behavior along with the constant bullying of her classmates. Carrie, in the meantime, realizes she has telekinetic capabilities and tries to understand and hone her powers. But when Carrie becomes the focal point of a disastrous prom prank, her tormentors soon realize the extent of her powers. Here are a few movie mistakes to look for while watching 2013’s “Carrie”.

∙ At the beginning of the movie, when Margaret White delivers Carrie, Margaret has a pair of scissors in her right hand. She puts the scissors down on the bed, near the inner part of her right leg to pick up the baby. It cuts to an overhead view of Margaret cradling the baby and the scissors are gone.

∙ When Chris walks into the gym, the view of the girls sitting on the bleachers shows Sue sitting on one seat with one of the twins sitting on her left and Heather on Sue’s right. The other twin is sitting one step down from Heather. When Chris tells them she’s “officially out of the prom”, Heather has switched places with the second twin who is now sitting to the right of Sue.

∙ When Tommy shows up at Carrie’s house to ask her to prom, the cross around her neck is half hidden. The right half is hidden under the fabric of her dress. When she says “you need to leave”, the cross is fully visible on top of the dress.

∙ CAUTION: May Contain Spoilers! After Tommy is hit in the head with the bucket at the prom and falls to the floor, Carrie looks over at him and he’s facing toward her. But in the overhead view, when she crawls over to him, he’s facing away from her.

∙ CAUTION: May Contain Spoilers! At the gas station, the Mustang with Chris and Billy crashes. In the close-up of Carrie as she’s walking away, the electricity starts to crackle and the Mustang can be seen in the background. The vehicle is empty although just a few moments before, Billy and Chris were in there.

∙ CAUTION: May Contain Spoilers! When Carrie is holding her mother after the prom, both arms are crossed behind Margaret’s back with the left arm on her mother’s shoulders. In the next view, there is only Carrie’s right arm on her mom’s back. When Carrie says “I don’t want to hear it”, her left arm is back on her mother’s shoulders.
