The Equalizer 2

The Equalizer 2
When he’s not helping people, Robert McCall spends his days as a Lyft driver in Boston. That changes when his friend, and former colleague, Susan Plummer, is murdered. Coming out of retirement, Robert is determined to bring those responsible to justice. Here are a few movie mistakes to look for while watching “The Equalizer 2”.

· There is a paper towel hanging over the roll as Robert and Susan are talking about Brian’s new book. When Susan gets up and they are talking in the kitchen, the paper towels are aligned on the roll, with none hanging down. As he’s talking about Vivian and the shirts, it cuts to a front view of Susan and the paper towel roll is slightly unwound, where the edge can be seen dangling away from the roll. The scene cuts to Robert when he says, “What?” and then back to Susan when she replies, “I didn’t say anything”, and the paper towel is dangling further from the roll.

· At Susan’s wake at her home, Dave York approaches Brian and places his right hand on Brian’s left shoulder. It’s still there when it cuts to a rear view of Brian. The scene switches back to the original view and Dave’s hand is on Brian’s arm.

· Robert is studying the murder scene of the Calberts in Belgium. When Mrs. Calbert was murdered her left arm was outstretched with her hand in a fist. Robert puts himself in the murder scene and her left hand is flat on the table.

· Robert is supposed to take the assassin to Logan Airport. When the man attacks, Robert drives the front right side of the car into a parked vehicle and a few seconds later, drives the left front side into another parked car. Robert eventually stabs him in the car. In the outer view of Robert’s vehicle afterward, there is no damage to his car.

“The Equalizer 2” (2018) stars Denzel Washington, Pedro Pascal, Ashton Sanders, Orson Bean, Bill Pullman, and Melissa Leo. It runs 121 minutes and is rated R for brutal violence throughout, language, and some drug content.
