The Dead Don't Die

The Dead Don't Die
The Earth is pulled off its axis due to fracking, causing chaos to ensue around the globe. In the peaceful town of Centreville, the local police have their hands full when the dead start coming out of their graves, in pursuit of the things they once craved when alive---as well as human flesh. Here are a few movie mistakes to look for while watching “The Dead Don’t Die”.

· After they talk to Hermit Bob, Ronnie and Cliff are riding in the squad car. Ronnie’s radio is positioned on his right shoulder, above the seatbelt. It’s still that way throughout the scene but in the close-up of Ronnie when he mentions, “This isn’t going to end well”, the radio is under the seatbelt. The cuts to a view of Ronnie and Cliff and the radio is back in its original position.

· In the farther view in the diner, Frank is shown picking up his coffee mug with his right hand. He takes a sip and puts the cup back on the counter. Hank asks if he’s sure Hermit Bob was the one who stole his chickens. It cuts to a close-up of Frank and he puts his cup down again.

· Zoe, Zack and Jack are first shown in the car. Jack is in the back seat with his left arm across the back of the seat and his right arm along the window. Zoe asks him to check to see where they are and Zack is shown dropping his left arm to get his phone. It cuts to a close-up and Zack’s right arm is now down as he checks his phone. The scene cuts to the original view and Zack’s right arm is back in the window. He then drops it to help check the phone.

· Ronnie and Cliff are back at the police station with boxes from the hardware store. Cliff pulls out a silver funnel and places it back inside the box, under another object. It switches angles and the funnel is now in the corner of the box, with the opposite end sticking out.

· Zelda Winston is holding the container of green make-up when the two electrocuted golfers sit upright on the tables. Zelda puts the container on top of the picture on the tray. It cuts to an overhead view, and the make-up container is sitting at the bottom of the tray, between the picture and the make-up brushes.

“The Dead Don’t Die” (2019) stars Bill Murray, Adam Driver, Tilda Swinton, Tom Waits, Chloe Sevigny, Steve Buscemi, Danny Glover, Rosie Perez, Carol Kane, Iggy Pop, Selena Gomez, Austin Butler and Sturgill Simpson. It runs 104 minutes and is rated R for zombie violence/gore and language.
