A Concert for Autism Speaks
It has been announced that a concert to benefit Autism Speaks will take place on September 24, 2005 at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood, CA. This is the same place where the Academy Awards is held. Jerry Seinfeld and Paul Simon will perform with Tom Brokaw emceeing the one night-only event. Tickets start at $100 and will be available through Ticket Master on August 15, 2005.

The Roosevelt Hotel is very close by if you need to make an overnight reservation. You may want to read some reviews and then check out their site for more details. If you peruse People or US Weekly you will see many famous celebrities frequent the Roosevelt Hotel and sunbathe at the pool.

Autism Speaks was launched earlier this year by the Chairman and Chief Officer of NBC Universal - Bob Wright and his wife Suzanne. " The concert is being held to raise money to research the causes of the autism epidemic and to raise awareness of this devastating childhood developmental disorder."
