Sun Dried Tomato & Garlic Salad Dressing

Sun Dried Tomato & Garlic Salad Dressing
Organicville Sun Dried Tomato & Garlic Salad Dressing is gluten free, organic and only 1 carb per serving.

I admit I am normally not a tomato-and-garlic dressing kind of person. I tend towards ranch dressings and Italian dressings. I approached this dressing with a bit of hesitation.

I was quite impressed! This is not heavy at all. The flavor is light, herbal, fresh. It's a great consistency, a nice middle ground between thin and creamy. It does a very good job of coating all of the items in your salad with flavor without being thick and overdone.

As with all fo Organicville's products, the ingredients are all ones you can identify - organic sun dried tomatoes, organic minced garlic. You feel very happy and content knowing that you are eating healthy items that are good for you and good for the world as well.

There are 110 calories per serving, no trans fats, no cholesterol, 250mg sodium and under 1g of carbs. The serving size is 2 Tablespoons.

I know I comment in all of the salad dressing reviews that I think the serving sizes are small. It all depends of course on how large of a salad you eat. I tend to eat large salads but some people eat small side salads to go with a meal. Whatever size of a salad you eat, make sure you figure out how much dressing you use to go with it.

There are many great ways to maximize how well your salad dressing works. Don't pour giant globs onto the top - use a Tupperware style shaker to shake it around and coat the salad evenly.

Some people get burnt out on salads and stop eating them. This is a great shame - salads are wonderful for you! One of the keys is finding a collection of different salad dressings that you can alternate between. That way, as you move from dressing to dressing, you get fresh flavors and textures to keep you interested. You'll always look forward to the salads you make.

I highly recommend the Sun Dried Tomato & Garlic even if you're not normally a fan of this type of dressing. Give it a try - I bet you'll be surprised!
