In continuing from the previous article, Free U.S. Travel Guides A-D, we pick up with free official travel guides starting with the Sunshine State, Florida and ending with the popular honeymoon destination, Hawaii. Florida, Georgia, and Hawaii are popular tourist attractions year round, and you’ll definitely want to grab one (or several) of these free guides when planning your next getaway.

The official travel guide for Florida is found at visitflorida.com. Since Florida is one of the world’s premiere tourist destinations, you can imagine that the website is huge. It features all of the major cities, beaches, and of course, the theme parks. You can even create your own account for help planning your visit. There is even an interactive map where you can find major Florida events that occur throughout the year. You can sign up for a newsletter that will keep you up to date with current attractions, beaches, shopping, romantic getaways, and golf. You can also view a number of guides online including Florida hiking, biking rails, fishing, golfing, canoeing, kayaking, maps, and more. Several guides are available for request through postal mail as well.

You can find the free official Georgia travel guide by visiting Georgia.org/travelguide. In addition to their numerous guides and brochures, you can also listen to one of several podcasts that introduce you to some of Georgia’s historical highlights and the featured Old Federal Road driving tour. There is even a free downloadable map that shows the driving tour. Georgia is a popular tourist destination and you can select travel guides for Atlanta Metro, the Georgia Coast, the Historic South, Mountains, and Southern Rivers. Additionally, there is a statewide map that provides a general overview of golf courses, fishing, general events, and more.

The first thing that you will notice upon entering the site is the wonderful video that explores the majestic beauty of the Hawaiian islands as well as stories about Hawaii. You’ll find that the site is a great resource for first time visitors and offers plenty of information, cultural events, historical facts, traveling tips, as well as many educational resources that are sure to pique your curiosity.

Additionally, you can browse individual islands to help plan your trip better. Select from Kauai, Oahu, Molokai, Lanai, Maui, and Hawaii’s Big Island and ensure that you take in all of the splendor and beauty that is home to Hawaii.
