Prayer for the New Year

Prayer for the New Year
The New Year brings with it a promise of a new beginning – out with the old and in with the new. Below is a Prayer for the New Year that I wrote to help us all make the most of each and every second of this bright New Year. May this coming year be your very best year yet. God Bless you all.

Dear Heavenly Father,Buy at Art.com

As the dawn of this New Year begins, please help me to be enriched by every new and precious moment. Draw me closer to you with each sunrise and every sunset. Guide me to know your will for me. Help me to always say yes to you. Walk with me every minute of every day. Carry me when times are tough. Help me to always keep my eyes focused on you. Give me strength to make decisions based on my faith in you.

Help me see the possibilities each new day brings. Give me the zeal and anticipation of the New Year with every new month, new day, new minute, and new second of my life.

O Heavenly Father, thank you. Thank you for the opportunities this New Year has in store for me. Help me see the blessings, even in the roughest days. Help me to always view your amazing creations with gratitude.

Thank you for the blessing of each sunrise and sunset, a mountain breeze, the sound of a rushing waterfall, the warm sand underfoot along a beach. Thank you for family, friends and companion animals. Thank you for all the doors you open for me; even the ones I might not see at first. Thank you for the many blessings you bestow upon me this year and every year.

I pray this in the name of your beloved Son, my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Amen.

Peace in Christ,
