Do you want to make your Thanksgiving table look spectacular this year? These easy-to-make Thanksgiving decorating ideas will have your table looking its festive best in no time. These projects are simple, fun and inexpensive, and they will make your guests feel warm and welcome.

Elegant

The elegance of a candle centerpiece is perfect for just about any occasion. For Thanksgiving, combining candles with a few seasonal elements is a great way to build a beautiful centerpiece.

Using an apple corer, hollow out a column in the center of an assortment of seasonal fruits and vegetables like artichoke, pears, pumpkins and gourds. Place a taper candle 2" deep into each hole and fill in around it with berry sprigs, leaves or flowers. Gather all of these beautiful new candle holders into the center of the table and arrange them atop a garland of greenery, a rustic piece of wood or a silver platter.

Another beautiful and unique candle centerpiece idea is to use a collection of white, yellow and orange votive candles wrapped with cinnamon sticks. This spicy centerpiece is easy to make and looks and smells fantastic.

Simply arrange the votive candles into a group and place cinnamon sticks that have been cut in half around the outside. Secure with an autumn colored ribbon and place in the center of the table. These cinnamon wrapped candles can also be used as place cards - simply use fewer votives and affix the name of each guest to the ribbon.

Whimsical

Another way to make your Thanksgiving table a charming focal point is to add a touch of whimsy. These turkeys made out of pine cones are a great way to make your guests smile.

Using a large pine cone, glue a brown pipe cleaner to the smaller end and curl the top of the pipe cleaner to look like the turkey’s neck. On the opposite end of the pine cone, glue small brown feathers. Use these delightful pine cone turkeys in a group for a fun centerpiece or individually as place cards.

Natural

A Thanksgiving table doesn’t have to be fussy to be charming. In fact, sometimes the best decorating ideas are the ones that are the most simple.

A wonderfully easy and natural centerpiece idea is to place several white pumpkins or gourds into a rustic basket and fill in around them with leaves, flowers or branches. Or simply place 5 or 6 branches with colored leaves into a vase in the center of your table. These ideas are simple but beautiful.
