Gypsy Virtual Paper Doll

Gypsies, also known as Romani, are wanderers who live primarily in central Europe. Historically they began in India, but in modern days they have spread to all corners of the globe. The name "gypsy" came about because locals would incorrectly think that these traveling bands had come from Egypt!

Gypsies were often the highlight of medieval life. These free-spirited explorers would travel from town to town singing, dancing, selling items and making repairs. Many modern office workers dream of taking on the wonderful life of the gypsy!

This gypsy plays the tambourine, an ancient instrument found in many cultures. If you want, her left arm can be decorated with traditional henna tattoos, called mehndi.
