We have gotten through the holidays and are looking forward to spring. Our ponds are pretty much dormant unless we live in the South as I do. We have been having unseasonably warm weather and our plants are sprouting and growing. Our fish are definitely not in torpor.
Now is a great time to build a pond unless you are under much snow as some of our readers are. But if you wish to build a pond and don't want to spend lots of money, here is a way to do it.
Remember, building in a warmer than usual January is lots easier than building in a hotter than usual August.
