Here at Chez Shea, our new Christmas kittens are growing fast! They are white with black patches, resembling tiny Holstein cows. Artemis appears to be the dominant litter-mate at this point, though Birch is no pushover. They delight in pouncing on my furry gorilla slippers, Polly Pocket accessories, and DD's beautiful eyelash yarn scarf. We had a scare this week when the two year old got a scratch to the eye. She refused to open her eye for over two hours. We took her in to get checked and it turns out that the damage was to the inner lid and not her cornea. Phew! It took her a day to stop complaining and now she's fine.
