Hello Everyone!

I hope those of you that are enduring winter in the Northern Hemisphere are wearing your woolies and keeping warm. For those of you that are experiencing summer in the Southern Hemisphere... I have nothing to say. I am speechless with envy.

This weeks article was inspired by a yeast infection my Great Pyrenees dog has in his ears. He is our latest rescue and came to us with this infection in his ears and in the fold in his neck. We have been trying the medication from the vet, but it is proving very difficult to get rid of. It doesn't help that he is really cute and looks very sad when I approach him with the various potions and pills he is expected to take. How do you tell a dog it's for his own good?

I suffered from yeast infections during the years before my hysterectomy. This was before the convenience of over-the-medications and mine always seemed to show up on a Friday night and I would have to wait until Monday to see my family doctor. Fortunately, this is not the case today. Effective medications are readily available. No need to scratch away or suffer until you can get an appointment. A quick trip to the drugstore is all that is between you and relief.
