In Maharashtra, the harvest festival of Makar Sankrant is being celebrated. We traditionally greet family & friends by saying "Til gul ghya ani god god bola!" & enjoy sweets together such as Tilache Ladoo. The saying roughly translates into " Let any bygones, be bygones -- please take my sesame sweets & speak sweet words as well!". It is all about renewing your friendships & making them even stronger :-)

Tilache Ladoo Recipe
Makar Sankrant marks the holy harvest festival in India. This day celebrates the Sun’s journey from the South to the North. On this day, people traditionally give & eat white sesame seeds sweets as a sign of friendship. My delicious Sweet Sesame Seeds Balls are just the perfect thing to share :-)
