Mobile Alabama-Mardi Gras for the Family
Many people do not realize that Mardi Gras actually began in Mobile Alabama. While New Orleans celebrates the largest known and most popular Mardi Gras they weren't the first. Mobile Alabama actually hosted its first Mardi Gras in 1703 while New Orleans celebrated its first Mardi Gras in 1837.
