My brain seems to be on vacation this week. I thought I already sent this out to you! Thank you for your patience.

I decided to take a look at the Blessing of the Children this week. It is a weekly Shabbat ritual and a simple thing that can have tremendous and long-lasting impact on your children and on your family. I am not emotionally prepared to speak publicly about the horrendous event in Sandy Hook, but I know many of you are holding your children a little tighter and trying to bring more goodness into their worlds.

Blessing Over The Children
It is a long standing tradition to give our children a blessing every Friday night as Shabbat is beginning. This tradition stems directly from the Torah and continues to be packed with valuable meaning for today.
