The winter months always mean I am going to eat more. I look for some interesting dishes to try out. In my search I stumbled across some interesting information about palm oil and its value in especially West Africa in so many dishes. This week I thought I would share some of my find with you. The prized palm tree produces a large orange fruit which is used in the production of a range of regional dishes and everyday non-food necessities. It can be seen on supermarket shelves around the world and thus is a valuable part of West African economies.
