African Culture

January 23 2014 African Culture Newsletter

Hi everyone,

The winter months always mean I am going to eat more. I look for some interesting dishes to try out. In my search I stumbled across some interesting information about palm oil and its value in especially West Africa in so many dishes. This week I thought I would share some of my find with you. If anyone has any lovely recipes they would like to share, that include palm oil, please get in touch. It will be fun to give it a go...

Here is your latest article from the African Culture site at BellaOnline.com.

African Palm Oil
The prized palm tree produces a large orange fruit which is used in the production of a range of regional dishes and everyday non-food necessities. It can be seen on supermarket shelves around the world and thus is a valuable part of West African economies.
