Involuntary tics, also just known as tics, occur with a number of conditions, including Attention Deficit Disorder. Tics are repetitive in nature. Who get tics and how are they caused? When do people have tics? What types of tics are there? People have these and many more questions about tics. The article for this week will answer some of your questions. My great nephew has Tourette Syndrome. Over the years I have had a chance to see how his life has been impacted by his tics. It is amazing how many people make assumptions about his intellect and character based on his tics.

When I saw Brad Cohen's story on Hallmark Hall of Fame, I was touched by how hard he had to struggle. But struggle he did--all the way to Teacher of the Year!
