Other matches saw: Melina upend Beth Phoenix to win the Women's World title

John Cena successfully defended his title against JBL even when Shawn Micheals interfered and gave both of them his sweet chin music. He then dragged JBL across John Cena but somehow Cena had the wherewithall to kick out and then FU JBL to win the match and retain his title.

Edge defeated Jeff Hardy for the WWE title when MattHardy interfered in the match. He nailed Jeff with a chair and gave him the Twist of Fate, allowing Edge to pin Jeff and win the title.

Jack Swagger also successfully defended the ECW title against Matt Hardy as well.
