There is a new television show premiering on Wed, Jan 25th on Fox with Kiefer Sutherland and Danny Glover. It is called Touch and centers around a non verbal autistic boy. Kind of reminds me a bit of the movie many years ago with Bruce Willis called Mercury Rising.

I also heard that the new movie in theaters with Tom Hanks and Sandra Bullock has an autism connection.

Lastly, someone I know at the gym has a sibling that is in his 30s on the spectrum and in the special olympics. He told me long ago he would keep tobasco sauce packets in his back pocket because when his brother was having behavior meltdowns he would rub some on his mouth and this would stop it as it would cause confusion. He was surprised I had not heard of this.
