Greetings, and welcome to the 10 October, 2007 Neuromuscular Diseases Newsletter
This free newsletter is put out weekly and provides a wealth of information for anybody living with or interested in Neuromuscular Diseases and the effect it has on people’s lives.

This week we ponder over the birth of a baby with a neuromuscular disease. I heard someone described the shock of a baby born with any kind of “difference” be it paralysed, malformed, brain injury or whatever comes along, is like preparing for a trip to the French Riviera and landing in the Sahara Desert with only baron sand all around you. New plans, new strategies and new challenges you were not prepared for, becomes your new lifestyle.

Feel free to share your own experiences with us in our Neuromuscular Diseases forum.

Thoughts for the week:

--You never lose by loving. You only lose by holding back.

I have found the paradox that if I love until it hurts, then there is no hurt, but only more love

- Only those who see the invisible can do the impossible
