EA Poe’s Last Days (October 3-7, 1849)
"There at length they found me lying, weak and ‘wildered, sick and dying,/And my shattered wreck of being to a kindly refuge bore;" are just a few lines from a poem entitled "The Streets of Baltimore." Hauntingly, the poem tells of the tragic and mysterious death of it's proposed author, EA Poe.

The 1919 World Series is one of the most controversial games in baseball having played host to one of the game's greatest scandals. The men involved, as great of players as they were, will most likely never see the Baseball Hall of Fame.
