Earlier this month I had a revelation when my daughter thankfully lost one of her doll’s shoes. I call it an Angel knocking on my door to alert me to something I need to know that could be life threatening if left unattended. I would like to hear about your personal revelations that lead to a change in your safety guidelines regarding your children.

Safety Plan for Walking to a Friend’s House
When my children, ages 12 (daughter) and eight (son) wish to walk to a friends house in our neighborhood, they walk together. I believe in safety in numbers. Never had I imagined my kids might take a different route to their friend’s house.
