October 24 2014 Mystery Books Newsletter

Hi everyone,

You may or may not know that the BellaOnline server crashed several days ago and Lisa Shea and her crew have been extremely busy trying to get us back to normal.

Unfortunately, we lost about six to eight weeks worth of articles - in my case book reviews - and are needing to replace them.

Early on I got into the habit of saving all reviews that I wrote, so I will be adding those that were lost back into the Mystery Books site.

If you have any questions or concerns about your book review, the email portion of the site is working at this time. You can either check out the Mystery Book Reviews section of the BellaOnline site to see if your book review is still on the site, or send me an email and I will respond.

In the meantime, I am continuing to read and review those books that I have in the queue at my home. My bookcase is starting to buckle under the weight of all the wonderful mysteries I have yet to review, so I ask for your patience as I continue to read your books.

The books that were reviewed prior to the crash, and that were temporarily lost, all have a shorter version of the review already posted on Amazon.com.

Here's a recent review from the Mystery Books site at BellaOnline.com.

Miss Julia to the Rescue Review
Miss Julia found out Hazel Marie’s husband, Mr. Pickens, a private detective, has disappeared. She and her friend Etta Mae go on a road trip in an effort to bring him back.

I hope to hear from you sometime soon, either in the forum or in response to this email message.

I take the task of reading/reviewing very seriously and hope to continue on into the future. That said, we are receiving a greater number of requests for reviews on a daily basis. I appreciate your patience as we continue to move forward.

Take care,
