OK, as I type this I think the last of the Halloween trick-or-treaters have visited my home. We were completely sugar-free this year! I got little bags at the local party shop and got kazoos, kaleidoscopes, yo-yos, little puzzles and sugar free candies. Add in a little bag of peanuts and the goodie bags were complete. All the kids were thrilled, and several parents said "Thank you!".

I had my dental check-up today too - and the assistant and dentist both raved about my teeth. This even though I'm not great about brushing them daily, since I work at home. The dentist said, "You don't eat high carb, I bet". We all talked a long time about the great sugar-free options out there and wondered why parents still feed their kids sugar. You can't grow new teeth - once those adult teeth get holes, all they can do is pull them out or try to patch them! It's WELL worth it to cut all sugar from your diet.

The average American loses **12** teeth by age 50 - most to decay!
