Hello! I trust you are having a good week!

SIGHTS AND SMELLS THAT HEAL
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
SIGHTS
There is nothing like the Fall of the year, the colors of yellow, orange, and red blending together for a feast for the eyes.
Pumpkins and bales of hay decorate yards and front porches, saying “Happy Autumn – Come on in!”
AROMAS
Nature
I love the smell of dry leaves and the sound of their crunching under my feet as I walk my dog.
Candles
Tip: I love to burn candles in the house, and I use only Glade brand. The aroma they emit while burning is exactly the way they smell in the store! Look for either Cinnamon & Apple, or Vanilla (sometimes they combine all three) for this time of year, and all the way through Thanksgiving and Christmas!
Stove-Top Potpourri Recipe (natural)
And, for those of you who may be sensitive to candles, here is a tip for making your home smell wonderful, all you have to do is look in your Pantry. It’s a recipe of my mother’s that I use when I am out of candles:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Stove-top Cinnamon & Clove Potpourri

1 Qt. metal or glass pan
Tap water ½ full
Cinnamon – 1 Tbsp., or use 3-4 whole sticks of Cinnamon (whichever you have, both work)
Cloves - 4-5 whole - crushed
1 orange – cut in half, squeeze juice into pan, then cut leftover into small pieces and add to mixture
1 lemon - same as orange

Optional: Add Vanilla Extract if you have it, just a capful will do.

Let simmer on stove-top on Med-Low heat. It’s better not to boil, it will dissipate too quickly and the smell will not emerge. The slower you heat it, the more time it has to steam out the aroma!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Note: Do not add sugar! It is unnecessary for this purpose. You will have to just throw out when done, so get all the good out of it you can-
I believe that you will love it!
Have a blessed and healthy week!
p.s.
HOT CIDER
You could actually take this recipe and increase everything, add 4-5 large sliced and seeded apples, simmer a long while, strain, and add the sugar to taste to make a delicious hot homemade cider. It would be great!
