Hiking & Backpacking

October 5 2007 Hiking & Backpacking Newsletter

Hello, hello

Hiking's been close to home these past few weeks as the snow begins to fall on the mountain passes. How does the summer fly by so fast? Gaitors and strap on crampons are now "must haves" in the day pack. And as the day light hours get shorter, there's plenty of evening time to curl up and dream of next year's adventures. Where should we go? Grab and guide and start planning! Here's the latest article from BellaOnline's Hiking and Backpacking site to start you in the right direction:

Hiking Glacier & Waterton - Book Review
A slim, pocket-sized guide packed with a surprising amount of information on the best easy day hikes in Glacier and Waterton Lakes National Parks.
