What's your favorite reward? I love being able to have a delicious dinner with my family and just spend time together. It's not something that everybody would feel excited about, but it is what makes me feel great.
Parents and teachers know that a potent reward can help a child with Attention Deficit Disorder to have better focus. Adults with ADD often learn to reward themselves to help focus. A study suggests that methylphenidate might help people with ADD to delay small, immediate rewards for larger ones.
