|Just wondering how others take care of themselves while balancing work and family. I worked and completed my undergraduate degree while pregnant and then single parenting and then moved to the other side of the country to complete a graduate degree while still working and parenting. Now I am a practicing counselor, writer, college teacher and political leader in my town while still parenting and I think the thing that goes by the wayside the most often is self care. I preach it to my clients, but never manage to do it myself because once the weekend comes I have piles of laundry, housework, writing and correcting papers to do before I start all over again.

So, what do others do to take care of themselves?
