A rare October storm hit the east coast last week leaving many without heat and electric. As we try to regain our usual routine it seems a good time to remember that it all could be worse. Rudolf Giuliani was a powerful mayor that will be remembered for his powerful leadership during the worst of times.

Giulini Elected Mayor Nov 2 1993
On November 2, 1993 Rudolph William Giuliani was elected the 107th mayor of New York City. He decreased the crime rate and improved the economy, but he will be remembered most for his heroic handling of the terrorist attack of the World Trade Center.
