Tatting to Celebrate the Winter

During the winter solstice season there are many international celebrations. And tatters can always find a pattern to tat in honor of the celebration. From Hanukkah to Eid-e-Milad, from Christmas to Kwanzaa there is a tatting design that can be made for it.

Kwanzaa: Create a petite beaded block tatted lapel to honor Kwanzaa. Study the Block tatting method used in the Hanson pattern (http://www.georgiaseitz.com/classes2/blocktat/hanson.html). Load 12 black, 12 green and 12 red beads on the thread.
Two rows of each color bead.
