Greetings from the snowy, blowy Land of OZ!
I was writing last night to the tune of ice pellets hitting the screens. It wasn't the most soothing sound that I've heard this year. This morning, it is cold and damp, but we just have tiny bit of snow on the ground.
Last summer, I compiled my writings about Attention Deficit Disorder and school students. BellaOnline published my e-book, Building School Success with ADD. If you know of a child who is struggling in school, you might point out my book to their parents. It's filled with practical advice about how parents and the school can help the child. I am busy on a new book.
This week's article will be a part of that book, Living Well with Adult ADD. Last year the press made a huge fuss over a study about food additives and hyperactivity. Do food additives including coloring and preservatives cause Attention Deficit Disorder? No, ADD is a biological disorder. Can they cause hyperactivity? Recent studies seem to suggest that they can.
