Hello and I hope you are having a good week!
In the coming weeks I am going to be giving a book review on the title:
The Loving Ain’t Over for Women with Cancer, by Ralph and Barbara Alterowitz (2011). 260 pages
Got your attention! Ha!
I’ve just started the book, but I can tell you from the Table of Contents and from grazing through some of the chapters, it is chock-full of helpful information for any woman who has suffered through cancer and the devastating treatments, and has had it affect her sexuality and love life.
The book offers practical advice and holistic solutions, and covers very sensitive subject matter that quite honestly is not talked about openly in certain parts of today’s society, including healthcare professionals. Although its focus is on women, it also offers practical suggestions for couples suffering from lost intimacy due to Erectile Dysfunction (ED).
Since they have experienced it themselves, this couple is dedicated to helping singles and couples renew their sexuality and intimacy, and fall back in love again in the process! The book is not sleazy, but it is real. It’s not for the faint of heart.
In my opinion, this book raises the bar of sexuality back up to where it deserves to be.
I hope I can give you some unexpected holiday cheer this year!
If you want to get an early start, go ahead and purchase and read the book for yourself. I believe it will give a refreshing boost to many of you!
Tip: Will make a great holiday gift - (include a romantic getaway, or a trip to Victoria’s Secret)!
Have a blessed and healthy week!
