Troops Exposed to Nerve Agents– Long-term Effects
Anticholinesterase agents are a “persistent organophosphate”, meaning it persists in the environment and its effects are cumulative. Once someone is exposed to this organophosphorus anticholinesterase agent, every subsequent exposure causes greater sensitivity to the chemical.

I am writing a series of articles about soldiers who were exposed to biochemical agents during their time in service. I’d like you to consider using the Veterans Forum to help set up contacts information for veterans and their families who are suffering from possible long-term effects from these biochemical experiments.
