Step By Step Is Best
We have to be sure we're performing the basics in the correct manner and then (and only then) can we move on to the next step. You see, part of the overall "Process" is to get the basics right, because if we don't, then we will be processing in the wrong way.

BELMONTE TOPS JONES TO WIN QUBICA/AMF WORLD CUP
Jason Belmonte gave Australia its first QubicaAMF World Cup men’s title on Wednesday, Dec. 7, defeating 13-time PBA Tour winner Tommy Jones of Simpsonville, S.C., 2-1, in Johannesburg, South Africa, in the best-of-three-game title match of the 47th World Cup.
After Jones won the first game, 279-259, Belmonte rallied to win the next two games, 247-216 and 259-236, for the title. Belmonte’s three-game 765 series in the title match was a World Cup record, one pin higher than the mark set by Norway’s Petter Hansen in 2004. Jones, Team USA’s male representative in the annual event, was top qualifier.
Aumi Guerra of the Dominican Republic became the second woman to win back-to-back World Cups, sweeping another former World Cup champion and two-time PBA Women’s Series titlist Diandra Asbaty of Chicago, 266-201, 202-199.

QUICK NOTES:
Correction: England’s Dom Barrett defeated Mika Koivuniemi to win the Qatar Open, not the Dubai Open as noted in last week’s Spare Shots.
Reigning PBA Player of the Year Mika Koivuniemi made a holiday season visit to Houghton, Mich., where he visited the Mine Shaft bowling center to announce the formation of the Mika Koivuniemi Youth Scholarship Fund. The Hartland, Mich., resident participated in a pro-am, silent auction and bowling clinic, with all proceeds going to Koivuniemi’s new scholarship program.
