Hello, dear readers.

The latest news on the vacant England managers position. The job goes to Fabio Capello who was presented at an FA Press Conference yesterday.
I have published an article about the Press Conference, and will follow up later this week with a feature on the managers history and achievements.

Discuss the appointment of Fabio Capello on the Soccer Forum.

The new manager was asked about former England Captain David Beckham, who is hoping to pick up his 100th England Cap in Capello's first match in charge, a friendly against Switzerland in February. He said he was a great sportsman and a great man.

No decisions have been taken about the squad. Beckham also appeared recently on the TV Talk Show “Parkinson's Final Interview” and said he will always be honoured to be chosen to play for England.
