Holiday Visits and Kids with ADD
Greetings from the Land of OZ!
Well, the kids are out of school here, and I had a few holiday miracles with kids who have made enormous progress over the years. That's one of the reasons that being a teacher is such an addictive activity. Sometimes kids do amazing things, especially when they know what is expected of them.
When kids with Attention Deficit Disorder are around people who barely know them, the results can be volatile. A holiday season brings opportunities for visits with people that we care for, but our children might not know them well. What can you do to improve the outcomes of these visits? Here are suggestions to make everybody's day better!
