Hello and Happy New Year 2013 this coming week!
My newest article is about brain dysfunction from treatment.
I just found some notes I took about foods that are helpful to reduce inflammation- which aggravate either symptoms of chemobrain/cancer-brain.
*Reduce Nervous Disorders*
Avocado
Banana - contains Seratonin (small amt); inhibits pain in the spinal cord/sedates the nerves. Mix with plenty of saliva (chew well) to avoid flatulence. Plantains are NOT good for ulcer sufferers (higher in starch).
Olives
**********
Alfalfa - good for edema
Blueberries - reduce inflammation, capillaries (hemmeroids)
Black Current - anti-inflammatory
Chestnut - invigorates muscles
Molasses - cartilage building; contains Sulfur (some are Allergic)
Lemon - eliminates Pus in body; astringent; cleans blood
Vitamin B-6 for proper neuron function
Please remember if you know you're allergic, or tummy can't handle it-don't eat it! These are suggestions only.
