Hello, Human Rights Advocates!

I have been busy busy these past two weeks, what with the holidays and my anniversary going on. All fun stuff but it’s nice to have some free time again. How have you all been? Did you enjoy your holidays? Are you looking forward to the new year? I’m trying to think of a new year’s resolution but I haven’t been able to come up with anything good yet. If I think of something, I’ll let you know. What’s your new year’s resolution?

This week’s article is a review of the movie 12 Years a Slave, one of my favorites. It’s about a black man who was born free but was later in life kidnapped and became a slave for 12 years before becoming free again. It’s a beautiful movie. Here’s the link to my review:
