We’re between Christmas and New Year and what better way to celebrate but with a Quilters Quarters Newsletter! (LOL). It’s so good to be in touch with you all again, I do hope there is happiness and laughter happening in your household.

I’ve had a delightful day today. It was our fortnightly meeting of the Sisters of Stitch, a neighborhood craft group that I lead. We decided at the outset that we wouldn’t break for Christmas and New Year and I’m so glad we made that decision. We had a reasonable rollup and so we sat closer together, with fewer tables. This was really fabulous because lots of the members got to know other members, and there was lots of laughter and chat going on. We enjoyed show and tell with some fabulous creations. These lovely women are very humble about their creations and I have to really be forceful sometimes to get them to talk about their wonderful show and tell.

I encourage all of you, if you don’t already, to join a group that is local to your home. It is just wonderful and a great way of making friends and getting a sense of belonging. Us women to that so well.
