February 11 2010 Autism Spectrum Disorders Newsletter

Gretings Everyone -

I apologize for the delay in sending out a newsletter for quite some time. Please share with me any sites you enjoy and would like others to note as well.

Nicholas turns 15 next month with Matthew turning 14 in June. I am contemplating either a guitar or a bike for Nick, although he has no interest in either or knows how to utilize them.

He is graduating 8th grade this year and will continue with Califoria Virtual Academy for high school. We had the triennial IEP with transition to high school earlier this month. This May will be the ITP as part of Matt's IEP. I am now taking part in more committees within Los Angeles Unified School District, which takes up my time plus Nicholas is spending more of his school day online.

We are looking forward to viewing the Olympics. If you have any ideas on presents for teenage boys please let pass them along to me in an email or thru twitter - http://twitter.com/autismfamily

I am interested in new products for those on the spectrum that can be promoted during April, autism awareness month. If you have an event or conference or book coming out for April please let me know and I can compile a list of resources.
