Valentine’s Day is certainly not a part of Indian Culture, rather one that is detested by orthodox, conservative Indians who believe such celebrations will destroy our unique culture. But the youngsters in the country choose to differ in their opinions and with all the media attention to Valentine’s Day, it is not surprising to find young love blossom on this day. This week’s update on Indian Culture is about the growing popularity of Valentine’s Day in India.
Valentine’s Day in IndiaI had a fabulous weekend. I travelled through several villages in South India and had an awesome time observing traditions and cultural practices that people adhere to.
