The Prevention First Act
In previous Senate sessions, Sen. Majority Leader Harry Reid has introduced Prevention First legislation. This legislation would work to prevent unintended pregnancies, thereby reducing the demand for abortions. In a Republican controlled Congress, he was never able to pass the legislation.

There is a new independent party for the 2008 election. This party is different from other political parties because it does not require you to leave your current party affiliation. Their goal is to pick a unity ticket that will consist of a candidate from each major party via a virtual and secure online convention.
