Tatting

February 21 2012 Tatting Newsletter

On Friday, Feb. 17, 2012, tatters around the world participated in a memorial service for Gina Brummet. We all either posted a note, a memory or photos of our tatting from a Gina Brummet pattern. Regina A, Brummet was known as the "tattinggoddess. " Please see her work: http://threadsofatattinggoddess.blogspot.com/ .

Gina had been tatter, teacher, tutor and talented tatting designer for years. We have enjoyed her work online and in tatting work shops. Her sweet smile lit up any room. Even during her battle against cancer she kept smiling. She was recovering well and even planning to go back to work part-time when she contracted pneumonia and was taken from us so quickly.

The last piece of tatting posted on her blog was a tatted heart. She did love tatting and tatters did love her. Our hearts are heavy with her loss.

Here are some patterns which Gina shared with the Online Tatting Class over the years.
