Greetings from the Land of OZ!

Please share this article with friends and family members, especially those who do not understand that Attention Deficit Disorder is a brain development issue. This is a real issue, when people think that folks with ADD are faking it or just don't care about behaviors that express what is going on with ADD.

From the time when we were small, many of us have been stigmatized because of ADD. I remember standing in front of the class and having the second grade teacher spank my hand with a ruler, since I did not finish my work. Most of us have war stories like this, and many are far worse than mine. This new study is large and there is empirical evidence, not just anecdotal, that our brains develop differently. Please check it out and share it!!

Brain Development Believed to Cause ADD
A large new brain imaging study, published in The Lancet Psychiatry, builds on earlier, studies to remove the stigma from ADD. These MRI brain imaging studies show visible differences in the brains of people with ADD. ADD is not caused by poor parenting or kids who don't care about their behavior!
